Stream Overlay Licensing: What You're Actually Allowed to Do
Personal use, commercial use, resale, DMCA. What the terms usually mean for overlays you buy.
Most overlay packs โ including ours โ are licensed for personal use on your own channels. You can stream with them, monetise your channel, and use them on multiple platforms. You can't resell, redistribute or repackage the files.
What 'personal use' includes
Using the pack on Twitch, Kick, YouTube and TikTok at once is fine. Being partnered or monetised is fine โ earning from your stream is not the same as reselling the artwork.
What's not allowed
Selling the files, giving them away, putting them in your own pack, or using them as a base for something you sell. That's true of essentially every overlay shop.
Sharing with a team
A pack is licensed to one creator. If your co-streamers want the same look, they need their own copy โ ask about a team arrangement rather than passing files around.
Music is the real DMCA risk
Overlay art doesn't get you struck; background music does. Use a licensed or royalty-free source for anything playing on your Starting Soon screen. Full terms for our packs are on the refund and license page.
