Channel points are free engagement if the rewards are actually fun. Setup plus reward ideas that work for small channels.
Channel points cost viewers nothing and give them a reason to keep your stream open. Set them up in Creator Dashboard → Viewer Rewards → Channel Points → Manage Rewards.
Rewards that work on small channels
Pick a song, choose the next run, name my pet in-game, hydrate check, +1 difficulty, pick my next Stardew crop. The best rewards change something on stream — that's what makes them worth saving for.
Price them in tiers
Have a few cheap ones people can redeem every stream, a mid tier for something noticeable, and one expensive reward that's a genuine event. If everything costs the same, nothing feels special.
Use custom icons
Default channel-point icons are generic. Custom icons in your theme make the reward menu look like part of your channel — the same badge sets that cover subs and bits usually include channel-point icons.
Keep the list short
Eight to ten rewards is plenty. A wall of options is paralysing, and half of them will never get used.
