How to Do a 24-Hour Stream (Without Regretting It)

Marathon streams are great milestones and brutal if unplanned. The prep that makes them survivable.

A 24-hour stream is a milestone event, not a growth strategy. Do it for a goal โ€” a follower target, a charity, a birthday โ€” and plan it properly or it becomes twelve hours of you being miserable on camera.

Plan the schedule in blocks

Split it into two-hour segments with different games or activities. Structure keeps energy up and gives viewers reasons to come back at specific times.

Prep food and breaks in advance

Real food ready to go, water within reach, and scheduled BRB breaks every few hours. Your BRB screen is doing serious work on a marathon.

Line up company

Ask friends to co-stream or drop in during the hard hours โ€” 4am alone is where marathons fall apart.

Tell people the plan

Post the block schedule beforehand so viewers can pick their slot instead of hoping something's happening.

Have great away screens

You'll be on your BRB and Starting Soon screens more than usual โ€” make sure they're worth looking at. Every pack includes both.

Screens for the long haul

BRB and Starting Soon scenes people are happy to sit on.
